Finally! This is some of my worst work if not my worst but I’m ready to get on with something NEW! I had planned on sewing the edges and turning it before quilting but I machine quilted-in the ditch-and turned the backing under to bind it. It’s finished and that’s all I can say except that Simon loves it! It was supposed to be sold at the church but I’m not sure I can do that. It looks like it might remain with us for him to sleep on. I put it down after I clipped some threads and he stretched out on it-full body! Earlier, he curled up underneath like it was a tent. Ok. I’ll consider keeping it. I cannot keep everything! I need to give some donations and make some money, too, but it’s worth it for him to be happy!
Have a Happy Day and Simon says, “Happy Scratching!”

Morning Friend.
SImon and I both love it.
I think its perfect and beautiful, because you made it.
Isn’t it a good feeling to know you made it and its done.
Have a wonderful day Beautiful Friend!
Trace, you just brightened up my day! Have a wonderful day! Thank you so much! Please take care!
Gorgeous Work. I’m aware of the work and dedication this requires. Congrats and Bravo!!!!
Thanks, John. I really like to do hand quilting which takes more time. I’ll be glad to get back to it now that this is finished. Please take care!
Simon is one lucky cat!
Roberta, I keep telling him that but he just looks at me like I’m crazy. That’s ok. I love him! Take care!
Roberta said exactly what I was going to say. A beautiful quilt and a beauitful cat – good combination.

Thanks, Lillian. Spoiled cat; happy family :). Take care!
Nice! I’d love to learn how to do that. We have several older quilts from my Alabama mother-in-law and I have an aunt that made baby quilts for my children. (My side had crocheting afghan grandmother.) I’d like to see a picture of it with your cat.
I’ll have to get a picture of Simon. He has already shed so much on it that the quilt needs washing. Every time I get material out to sew he lies down on it thinking he is getting something new. Yesterday it was pink material. It’s great that you have those keepsakes. Quilting is not hard to do and there are all types from hand sewn, machine sewn, and tied quilts. I hate getting rid of the good ones because I like to hand quilt and they take extra time. This one was machine quilted. It is addictive-I can’t crochet. There is a real talent. Take care!
