Gus (his story here) was a roa__ … bug that I found the last day of my mini vacation back in August. I thought he was dead but when I reached to pick him up, he waved at me. A blogging friend joked that maybe Gus wanted his belly rubbed—cute, right? 😆 I wonder if he may have been saying, “Help me. I can’t get up.” 😀
While away to see my youngest daughter last month, I took this photo. Meet Fern. Isn’t she adorable? She wasted no time in getting around. She was traveling almost as fast as we were that day.
Fern and Gus have a cousin I want to share with you later this week. Life is filled with all sorts of treasures and so is the garden. May yours be eternally blessed! Happy Gardening! 😀
Hope your garden has been fruitful this week! 🙂 Dave
Yes. Thanks. Good and bad. Both girls are in so much pain–health issues. Do you ever want to ask–when is enough, enough?
I hope your week was a good one. Take care! 😀
“fern” is beautiful! i wondered for a moment, “is she going forward or backwards?” but, nevertheless, she is surely beautiful, and i love her color! a beautiful addition to any garden! be blessed…
LOL 😀 . “She” is moving toward the top of the photo. I had to check the previous photo I took to be sure…haha. BTW, I’m not sure “she” is a “she.” I just give them a name. Silly, I know. I love her color, too. Take care! 😀
lol..thanks for the info on “her” lol…i was just curious, not serious, :O lol…i love your humor, great blog! thanks for bringing good light into a sometimes dark world!
🙂
Thanks. 😀 You got me to wondering which end was which 😆 . We all need a little humor now and then. Please take care! 😀
GBY!
such a beautiful fur coat 😉
I was just talking to a garden guy the other day about how many wooly catepillars I have been seeing and wondering if its true what folklore says about that telling us we will have an extreme winter…
according to him it seems the width and color of the strips on the body tell the story…
ours here in N VA are much darker usually in three sections of varying widths
OK I’ve said too much 😉
Happy Weekend to you dear Amy!

Isn’t “she” pretty? I have heard that, too. As fast as she was traveling, I believe it might be a cold one but speed probably doesn’t play a part, lol. Glad you stopped by and no, you didn’t say too much. Thanks for the comment. Take care! 😀
Your post reminded me of my favorite childhood movie: Where The Red Fern Grows. And now I definitely want to plant some Red Ferns in my garden. Thanks for sharing this post!
Good luck with the garden and may you preserve many memories. Take care and thanks for stopping by! 😀
