HUG! 😀

You know I have that thing where I have to have a hug when I say goodbye and then I will hug again to take one with me–just in case? I’m not going anywhere but I wanted to hug…(silly, I know).

Well, here is my hug… HUG 🙂

and here is the one just in case… HUG 😀

May your days be bright and filled with everything you want and desire

but most of all…everything you need!

“They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

“He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’  (Matthew 25:44-45 NIV)

The parable of the sheep and the goats… It’s the theme to one of the beautiful stained glass windows in my church depicting Jesus being fed and clothed as one of the people around us. Whatever we do for the least, we do for Him not because we fear punishment for our inactions but because we love one another. Is there a greater love? To give all for someone you may not even know or rather to give and to know and to keep giving… 🙂

Merry Christmas! 😀

May your day be so very blessed as well as all of the days for the coming year!

Happy Gardening! 😀

Good morning! 😀 A great video…

…not to be taken lightly 🙂 . I have watched it many times and see something new each time. 😉 I keep thinking how beautiful this “child” is and that it will always have to be in a zoo or reserve because of our world, not just because of the environment but because our attitude toward animals–that we are better–superior.

We are truly responsible for this world, the consequences we cause whether it is by our hands or those of others. Think of the freedoms elephants like this had years ago and how they don’t have that anymore…not really and never will again. We have not been good stewards of this world because we want and desire for ourselves over every one and every thing else.

Find someone today you can do something for—please—someone you can help in some way. And, make good conscious decisions–those that will impact others so that we become better stewards. 🙂

Thank you! 🙂

The shopping frenzy is on and everyone is worried about what to give who for Christmas or other holiday. It stresses us out at this time of year—so much so that we can’t enjoy the season…the season of love, giving, happiness. 🙂

Giving and receiving…

Give as many people a smile—not fake—not phony—but from the heart. Let them know you genuinely care. And, accept a hug or a handshake or a smile as the biggest gifts there are in the world…each one adding to your “bank.” 🙂

We, no matter our monetary status, are rich beyond belief…or at least we have the capability to be. We can give these gifts and make other people’s lives richer. Imagine. 🙂

It’s difficult at times to be all smiles but think about it…rather than return a scream or yell of words, or even a gesture, give a smile—a true caring smile—an understanding smile—a “I’ve been there before” smile… If we learn to do this, even in the worst of times (difficult, yes) we are happier, too. 😀 Who knows. We might get through this and help others to do the same. 😉 But, we might have to remind ourselves each day. 🙂

I may not have money but I am blessed in riches that money can never buy. 😀

Happy Gardening and 😀 !
